President&General Manager—Bai Xianhong

Bai Xianhong, senior researcher, is one of pioneers in China to be engaged in the research of molecular immunology and monoclonal antibodies. Mr. Bai graduates from the Dept. of Environmental Engineering Tsinghua University in 1978, used to work in the Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2000, Mr. Bai Xianhong establishes Biotech Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (“BPL”) along with shareholders from Cuba, since then he undertakes the position of Chairman of Board of Directors and General Manager.

Mr. Bai has been awarded with “Medal of Friendship” of the Republic of Cuba issued by the State Council of Cuba, enjoyed the Special Allowances issued by the State Council of China, won the “Boda Contribution Award” and awarded the honorary titles of “BDA Oversea High-level Talents” and “Top Ten Outstanding Person” issued by Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone.

This team develops clinical strategies from the perspective of medical insights and guides clinical practice with evidence. With over 60 professional, this team is responsible for medical affairs, medical statistics, clinical operation, PV and clinical quality assurance and control. This team is able to propose medical insights, make medical protocol, and carry out clinical trials and monitoring the quality of trials as well as clinical data processing and so on. The team not only enables BPL to materialize the medical insight of clinical doctors but also provides insight to the development of products, which promote the value of products and also extend the life cycle of products from the perspective of medical science.

This team produces products of high quality by use of advanced technology and facilities. The production team has commanded the technology of continuous perfusion at large scale by overcoming difficulties in process technology, and solving the pain points of antibody production, and accumulated rich experience in continuous culture of cells of high density, automation of fermentation process and so on.

This team always strictly abides by quality standards and puts careful control on the product quality.  This team has established a comprehensive quality control and assurance system. With the efforts of this team, BPL has passed GMP inspection from China and other countries several times. This team optimizes the management model, supervises the entire life cycle of medicines from multiple dimensions to guarantee that the marketed products are safe.

This team accurately conveys medicine information to help more patients to benefit from products of BPL.  BPL has its own sales team of more than 600 professional sales elites, which are divided into four regions covering all provinces of mainland China. This team has solid relation with customers and is good at exploring new markets. Through academic promotion and various conferences and seminars, this team has built the brand image of BPL’s products and assists in BPL’s sustainable development.
